The role:
The Business Application Specialist (BAS) studies the operation of the Business Application and the work processes it supports. The goal of the specialist is to support and advise users of the Business Applications on how to use them, by listening and asking questions to gain a good understanding of customer demand. In addition, the specialist has an eye for improvements to Business Applications and the possibilities that Business Applications can offer to improve work processes. The specialist reports to the Teamleader BAS.

What are you going to do?

Functional management, including user management
Application management
Guiding and training users
Managing data (sets) and accessing information
Drawing up manuals and instructions
Administrative tasks, including documentation of activities
Managing functional specifications
Acceptance testing, execution and supervision
Data definition management and data dictionary management
Integration testing
Support user test scenarios

What skills can you bring?

Bachelor's degree or equivalent gained by experience
Genuine interest in IT
Good communication skills
Fluent in Dutch and English (both at least at B2 level)
Occasionally available during an evening and/or weekend

What would be a plus?

Living within a commutable distance from Almere
ITIL IT service management (we can offer a course)
Knowledge of Service Desk systems
