Who is MTEE?
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe (MTEE) is a global player in the field of turbochargers for the automotive industry. Did you know that we have a 20% market share in Europe? That means that 1 out of 5 cars in Europe are fitted with a turbo that was made in Almere. This results in a huge market potential for replacement turbochargers in the European Market, which is supplied over the OES and the IAM channels.

The role:

In order to grow our IAM business we need to expand in the current markets and explore new markets/channels, products and customers.

The Sales Engineer IAM is the commercial contact to these (potential) customer. They are the commercial lead in the IAM team and development and execution of the business.

What are you going to do?
 
  • Build, maintain and sustain relationships with (potential) customers
  • Gather and analyze (market) data to evaluate our market, trends, portfolio, business model(s) and channels
  • Look for new opportunities based on the data gathered.
  • Report to the management on these opportunities by a data driven approach and create/present economically viable business cases.
  • Improve/extend our business models, channel(s) and portfolio in close cooperation with our Technical Product Owner
  • Support and initiate marketing and sales improvement activities
  • Create short, mid and long term plans
  • Report periodically on these plans
  • Visit (potential) Customers
  • Prepare and make complete quotations based on the requests of the customer
  • Support the negotiations with the customer (cost, price, lead time, steps)
  • Update forecast information and monitor forecast versus actual
  • Monitor gross margins and updating sales prices to customers if required


What skills and competencies can you bring?
 
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing processes, preferably in an automotive or after market environment
  • Knowledge and interest in gathering, analyzing, evaluation and use of (big-)data
  • Basic general knowledge of technology and materials used
  • Basic knowledge of automotive quality tools and methods
  • Knowledge of commercial and negotiation techniques
  • Knowledge of English and preferably Dutch and German
